.We are looking for a competent Maintenance Supervisor to manage maintenance in our resort. You will be responsible for training staff and ensuring the smooth running of upkeep or repair operations.

Qualifications:

Major Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist in the training and daily direction of maintenance technicians.
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
• Supervise and train maintenance technicians.
• Inspect property to determine units or systems requiring maintenance or repair and report work needed to Management.
• Performs the work schedule on a timely basis, ensuring all elements of the property meet resort standards. This requires prioritizing service requests, establishing daily work schedules for maintenance staff and follow-up on assignments for efficient, thorough completion.
• Performs light painting, light carpentry, light plumbing, light electric, preventive maintenance and other jobs as necessary.
• Maintains pool chemicals, filters, pumps, and plumbing.
• Must be able to assist in moving beach chairs and umbrellas to and from the beach in season when needed.
• Be available to handle after hours emergency problems as directed by Management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to move around the property in all types of weather conditions.
• A significant amount of physical activity such as walking and climbing stairs (often while lifting or carrying items), bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, reaching above shoulder height, grasping, gripping, turning or lifting is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent skills.
• 5 Years of experience in property maintenance preferred.
• Pool Operator Certification preferred but not required.
• Valid State Issued Driver’s License required.
